As used in this chapter:

CITY-OWNED PROPERTY: Any parcel of real property or personal property owned by the city excluding real property held jointly with other entities under the Utah Interlocal Cooperation Act, Utah Code Annotated 11-13-101 et seq., or real property purchased and held under the Utah Redevelopment Agencies Act, Utah Code Annotated 17B-4-101 et seq.

DISPOSAL: The alienation of city-owned property by public sale, appropriate private sale, exchange, exchange and sale, option to purchase, lease, lease with an option to purchase, rental, trade-in, trade, public auction, public advertisement for sealed bids, transfer of title, or any other lawful manner or means.

SIGNIFICANT PARCEL: Any parcel of real property in public use or with an estimated fair market value of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) or more.

SURPLUS PROPERTY: Any parcel of real property or personal property which is not in public use and/or is not a significant parcel. (Ord. 2004-01-007, 1-15-2004; amd. Ord. 2022-12-007, 12-15-2022)
