A. Every person applying for a private investigator’s business license under this article shall obtain an identification card from the police department after the chief of police, or his or her designee, reviews the experience, qualifications and other basic requirements for a private investigator’s business license.

B. If the applicant is a partnership, each member of the partnership shall be required to obtain an identification card from the police department.

C. If the applicant is a corporation, each officer and active member of the corporation shall obtain an identification card from the police department.

D. Each applicant, including members of a partnership and officers and employees of a corporation, shall submit to being photographed and fingerprinted by the police department. (2003 Code)
