A. Persons otherwise licensed by the city or the state as a contractor or carpenter who installs a lock as part of a door or remodeled door when the lock and key come from a manufacturer’s stock and the installation does not involve adjustment or reconstruction of the lock.

B. A person or an employee of a firm or corporation who is duly licensed to conduct such business in an area outside the jurisdiction of the city and who is not otherwise subject to the provisions of this law, when their work in the city does not involve, in a six (6) month period, more than one contract and one day to perform.
