5-5A-6: ENFORCEMENT; PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY:
A. Arrest And Citation: Any minor who is in violation of the provisions of this article is subject to arrest and citation.
B. Return To Custody Of Parent: Upon arrest, the minor shall be returned to the custody of the parent, guardian or other person charged with the care and custody of the minor.
C. Refusal To Take Custody: It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or other person charged with the care and custody of a minor who is in violation of this article to knowingly refuse to appear and take custody of said minor within a reasonable time after being ordered to do so by a peace officer. D. Misdemeanor: Any person who violates the provisions of this article is guilty of a class B misdemeanor and, upon conviction, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1. (Ord. 2002-1-004, 1-3-2002; amd. 2003 Code)
