No hotel owner, operator or employee shall permit the occupancy of any room during the week prior to Easter Sunday of each year by any minor child unless such minor child is accompanied by a “parent,” as defined in section 5-5B-1 of this article. It shall constitute an offense of strict liability for a hotel owner to violate this section, and the hotel owner may be liable in addition to an agent or employee who actually permits the occupancy.
