A. Whenever any vehicle is lawfully parked upon any street within a residential district, no lights need be displayed upon the parked vehicle.

B. Except as provided in subsection A of this section, whenever any vehicle is lawfully parked upon a street during any hours between one-half (1/2) hour after sunset and one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise and in the event there is sufficient light to reveal persons and vehicles within a distance of one thousand feet (1,000') upon such street or highway, no lights need be displayed upon such parked vehicle.

C. Except as provided in subsection A of this section, whenever any vehicle is parked or stopped on a street, or shoulder adjacent thereto, whether attended or unattended, during the hours between one-half (1/2) hour after sunset and one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise and there is insufficient light to reveal any person or object within a distance of one thousand feet (1,000') upon such street, such vehicle so parked or stopped shall display parking lamps meeting the requirements of the Utah motor vehicle division. Any lighted headlamps upon such a parked vehicle shall be depressed or dimmed. (Ord. 12-3-91, 12-19-1991)
