6-2A-1: INTENT:
This section is included in your selections.
It is the intent of the city to decriminalize certain violations of municipal law which have traditionally been regulated by the criminal laws, including, but not limited to, parking violations. The procedures set forth below shall be utilized to expedite resolution of cases coming within their application and to remove the social stigma attached to criminal actions.
